It seems like Samsung does not want to end a good thing. Recently, fans were greeted with the launching of the Galaxy Note 8 but there already reports about a newer version, the Galaxy Note 9, being made by Samsung.

The South Korean phone company has had a resurgent year so far despite a couple of incidents that hounded its smartphones last year. With both the Galaxy 8 and Note 8 receiving positive reviews, Samsung's mobile division bagged a number of awards and from business insiders and tech websites.

Nevertheless, Samsung tries to keep its consistency when it comes to innovation; that's why the company has already started working on their product's successors as soon as the flagship units have been launched to the consumers.

One of the first projects they're immediately following up on is the Galaxy Note 9 which will sport several upgrades in hardware specs and bring back some old features.

One of the features making a comeback is the front-facing fingerprint scanner which relocated or removed in some units to accommodate an all-screen aesthetic. The fingerprint scanner was formerly placed right next to the camera and that means that Samsung users had their fingerprints on the camera lens.

Reports have surfaced the tech giant is close to building the technology that will allow them to move the fingerprint scanner back to its original position, though no confirmation has been made about it.

Another reported change in the new Galaxy Note 9 is its S Pen. Though Cue Kim and BJ Kang from Samsung's Global Product Planning Group have released any details in their interview with the Samsung Newsroom, these changes are expected to appear on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

The company has yet to make an announcement for the smartphone's launch date but insiders are estimating that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be released around August or September of 2018.
