Samsung may have faced many setbacks this year but the company is coming back in a big way with the reported release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 in March 2017.

There have been reports that the device should have rolled out last September, but Samsung has yet to announce its release and fans are expecting it to come out early next year. Based on Samsung's earlier trends, it will not be long before it releases its next tablet because it is already giving out $150 discount coupons for the 8-inch Galaxy Tab S2, which significantly lowers its price from $399 to only $250.

Based on a report by Sammobile, Samsung will release two variants for its new tablet – a WiFi model called the SM-T820 and an LTE variant which is the SM-T825. There will also be two sizes available for the device – one will feature an 8-inch display while the other will be a tad larger with a 9.7-inch screen. Both models will feature an improved resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.

In terms of hardware, the new tablet will use a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 processor and have 3 GB of RAM. For storage, it will already have 32 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via a MicroSD card.

While it may not feature Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box, it is expected that it can support an upgrade shortly after. The device may use Marshmallow OS when it releases, reported Neurogadget.

In terms of battery life, it is expected to come out with a 4,000 mAH battery for the 8 inch version and a 5,870 mAH battery for the bigger version.

For multimedia afficionados, they will be glad to know that the tablet with have a 2 MP front shooter while the main camera will likely be an 8 MP camera. To speed up the transfer of data, its expected to adopt a USB-C port.

As for pricing, rumors speculate that it will only be slightly more expensive that the Galaxy Tab S2 but will still remain affordable.
