Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime release date will be coming soon as the handset's photo leaked online.

It was reported that Samsung will release other variants of Samsung Galaxy S5 in the next few weeks dubbed as Galaxy S5 Prime and Galaxy S5 Active. PhoneArena published a photo of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, which is claimed to have a 2560 x 1440 screen resolution, an aluminum body, and a speaker placed on the bottom.

TK Tech News also published a purported image of Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime or Active. The preproduction model of the handset showed a thicker and bulkier version of the Galaxy S5. Moreover, the phone also packed a metal casing but lacks the dimple pattern found on the plastic model.

The news source also ran several videos of the alleged S5 Prime showing that the smartphone will have a metal built. It is still unconfirmed whether the handset that appeared in the video is the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, but the model is described as the "Galaxy S5P" and in the About phone section, the phone's model number appears to be SM-906A, which is consistent with previous Galaxy S5 Prime leaks. The device packs a Full HD display like the regular Galaxy S5 model, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU and runs Android 4.4.3 KitKat.

Previous rumors claimed that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S5 Prime in June and the handset may be more expensive than the normal S5 smartphone. SamMobile cited Korean media Naver which reported that Samsung is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime at around 900,000 Won or $875.

Earlier reports claimed that Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime will boast a 5.2-inch screen display 2K pixel resolution. Under the hood, the handset will pack a new octa core Exynos processor or a combination of 2.1GHz quad-core Cortex A15 CPU & 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A7 CPU, 3GB RAM, up to 32 GB internal storage and the rumored Android 4.4.3 Kitkat OS. At the back, the handset will sport a 16 megapixel camera.
