The rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus are gaining momentum as leak after leak come out. The latest one, which came from ardent leakster Nowhereelse.fr, gives users an idea of how the phablet will compare to its predecessor in terms of size and layout.

The key difference is that the bigger S6 Edge is wider, as it was designed to be. The microphone in the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus was moved next to the headphone jack of the device. The infrared sensor is nowhere to be found, however.

On the other hand, a report from Phone Arena claims that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is headed to network carrier Sprint. Just days ago, variants of the device fashioned specifically for U.S. carriers AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile took a trip down FCC to be certified.

The Sprint model lagged behind but it will likely be available via the carrier, with the device bearing the model number SM-G928P. As Phone Arena noted, Sprint placed "P" at the end of the model number of their recent Samsung devices.

Along with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, the purported Samsung Galaxy Note 5 came to FCC as well. Both these flagships are expected to be unveiled by Samsung on Aug. 12. By Aug. 21, they will reportedly top up all retailer shelves.

Up to now, there are varying rumors about the specs of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Some say it will come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. Others claim the screen will measure 5.7 inches and under the hood will be an Exynos 7420 processor.

The smartphone is also expected to feature a 16-megapixel back camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It is said to have 32 GB of storage and a 3700 mAh battery to keep it alive.
