Rumor mills continue churning out speculations about the next Samsung flagship smartphone. Many reports say that the all-new Samsung Galaxy S6, along with its purported variants that some believe amount to three, was shown to carriers in secret during the CES 2015. Regardless of the device being so securely cloaked, some seem to have peeked underneath the mantle and now, some particulars, although unfounded, have at least helped consumers picture an image of the upcoming handset.

Android Origin says that Samsung will show the Galaxy S6 to the public in March during the Mobile World Congress. The Internet is rich with speculations of what the new handset will bring to the table. Chitchat is loudest with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display coming to the Galaxy S6. This will make it a bit bigger than its predecessor. The S5 has 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution on its 5.1-inch screen.

It could also be that a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 or the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor would power it up. This will go well with its purported 3 GB RAM and internal storage of either 32 GB or 64 GB, alongside a microSD slot to scale its storage capacity to 128 GB. Furthermore, a selfie snapper of about 5 megapixels will be included as well as a 20-megapixel rear-facing shooter. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is set to run Android 5.0 Lollipop.

All these major spec jumps are expected to be housed in an aluminum bodywork, which is what the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Alpha lineups now have. IB Times says that the S6 will be made slimmer and its sensors, improved further.

There is also buzz about an Edge variant, which has reportedly been sent to India for testing. Rumors suggest that both its right and left edges will be curved. However, Samsung will only release 10 million units to the market according to previous reports. Pricing for it is still unknown. The same goes for the original Galaxy S6. IB Times, though, has hinted that carriers will offer the latter at $199.
