A flagship smartphone from Samsung believed to be the Galaxy S7 was spotted in a Geekbench benchmark test. The leak referred to it as Samsung Project Lucky, which is believed to be some sort of codename for an alleged second model of the Galaxy S6 successor. 

Interestingly, it bears the same hardware the recently leaked Samsung Lucky LTE has. Both devices have the same Exynos 8890 processor inside them. The only difference is that Project Lucky has 3 GB RAM while Lucky LTE allegedly has 4 GB. 

According to GSM Arena, these handsets will turn out to be the versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7. The higher-end one with the higher internal memory is said to come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD quality display. The second one will reportedly be at 5.2 inches. There is no word if it will render the same screen resolution as the Lucky LTE. 

In the past weeks, there were already speculations regarding the release of two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7. But instead of the difference in the amount of RAM, these models will be set apart by the processors that they will be equipped with. 

There were previous rumors that Samsung will also make use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor in a number of Samsung Galaxy S7 units. Majority of the models will apparently be fitted out with the Exynos 8890 chipset. It is being said that the South Korea-based tech firm is testing out both chipsets.

As for the rest of the specs, rumor mills claim that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will offer 64 GB of storage where users will be able to store their apps, games and the photos they will take with the flagship's 16 MP rear-facing shooter and 5 MP front-facing camera. 

It is expected that the smartphone will be unveiled at the next Mobile World Congress, which will take place in the first quarter of next year.
