Online leaks have tipped at some specs that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will sport when launched this year.

Spotted on Amazon were some Spigen cases that are designed for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 handsets. The phone casing manufacturer has created a line of casings for what the product listings are referring to a Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus Edge variant.

The photos uploaded of the casings indicate that the handset collection's front-facing camera is to be located on the top right corner of the smartphones, accompanied by an LED fas module.

There is no official news yet from Samsung as to when the South Korean phone manufacturer intends to unveil the latest flagship, but Ukranian tipster Luchkov Ivan reports that the company may unveil it in the upcoming Unpacked 2016 event by Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to launch with two processor variations- either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or an Exynos 8890. The Exynos 8890 is said to be the most powerful chipset created to date, and will bring an instant edge to any smartphone that contains the SoC. The phone is set to sport a Super Amoled display with QHD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, and will be either 5.1 or 5.5 inches in size. There will be options for Edge variants, a design with curved edges, for both sizes.

It is claimed that the Galaxy S7 will come in either 32 GB or 64 GB variants, and will have a provision for expandable memory via a microSD card slot. The front facing camera is being rumoured to have 12 megapixels, while the back facing camera will have 21 megapixels.

A 3,000 mAh battery with quick charge technology is also being expected by phone analysts in the Samsung Galaxy S7, and a 3,600 mAh battery on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
