The Samsung Galaxy S7 is one of the most anticipated phones of 2016, and users are eagerly waiting reliable information on the launch of the Korean flagship handset. Recent news indicates that China Mobile has revealed the launch date of the Galaxy S7 to be on March 2016.

Cheng Guuifeng Gui, chief engineer at China Telecom Guangzhou Research Institute, posted several photos on chinese social media site Weibo of a presentation showing the plans of the company for next year. Included in one of the images is information on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 revealing the launch date and the price of the product.

The image posted by the engineer does not show the exact price, but it places the handset on a tier. The smartphone falls on a higher pricing category of 3,000 Yuan or more or about $460 up.

Also revealed in Cheng's photo is the Galaxy S7 launch plan, pegging the date of the launch on March of next year.

Previous leaks on the Galaxy S7 gives Samsung fans insight on what to expect specs-wise. The upcoming handset is believed to have two versions with varying processors: one with an Exynos 8890 and another with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. The Exynos 8890 is considered to be one of the most powerful chipsets created, garnering a record AnTuTu score of 103,692.

The handset is also believed to sport a 6-inch display, and better TouchWix user interface, 3D Touch features and many more.

China Mobile leaked the info at an end-of-the-year event, which was part of a revelation of plans for the first half of 2016. The Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7, as well as the Huawei P9, also appeared on the list.

The Korean OEM, Samsung, has chosen to remain silent amidst all the recent rumours on specs, launch date and pricing of the upcoming Galaxy S7.
