There is great anticipation about the Samsung Galaxy S7, the South Korea-based tech giant's next flagship. While reports abound about Samsung opting to release new mobile offerings earlier than usual, there hasn't been a much narrower detail, until now that is.

A leaked slideshow from China Mobile, which Neowin describes as the largest mobile operator in the world, lists that the flagship will officially be on sale in March. The report gives weight to previous release date speculations.

Stuff believes that the Samsung Galaxy S7 should likely be unveiled in February before the company makes it available to the market. Samsung removed the covers off the Galaxy S6 on Mar. 1 this year and by Apr. 10, it was made available to the public. Samsung is expected to use the same system.

Samsung usually unveils its new flagships during the Mobile World Congress. Next year, the event falls on Feb. 22. It is expected that the tech giant will launch its much talked about flagship there, which is why by March, users should be able to purchase the device.

The China Mobile slideshow also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be priced around 3,000 Yuan ($465) category. It has been rumored that Samsung is slicing the price off its flagship at least by 10 percent in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy S6.

As for the specs, it has long been rumored that the smartphone will have two versions – one with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and the other with Samsung's very own Exynos 8890 chipset.

It will allegedly offer 4GB RAM, a 20MP rear-facing camera, a USB-C port and a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, which will apparently be incorporated with a 3D Touch-like feature care of Synaptics's ClearForce technology.

At the moment, there's no confirmation from Samsung about the leak but with the purported release date nearing, users should hear from the manufacturer soon.
