The Samsung Galaxy S7 wasn't really expected to come out at least until possibly the second quarter of 2016, but recent rumors say that the Korean company could have had a change of plans.

Word has it that Samsung could be unveiling the next Samsung Galaxy phone variant by February 2016 and that there will be two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7, as reported by Tech Times.

The two devices will vary in terms of processor. One would come out with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and the other with Samsung's very own Exynos 8890. Worth noting is that the device will allegedly boast of the LTE Cat. 12, something that will deliver faster transfer speeds, although such will still depend on whether or not the device will be used on a mobile network that support such. 

Both processors will reportedly have support for the highly acclaimed modem with its faster data transfer rate, although it remains to be seen if the feature can immediately be used once the device does come out with special mention to the technology that eventual telecom carriers have.

Aside from the processor and the LTE Cat. 12, there are other features worth noting. This includes the main camera that will feature a 20-megapixel main camera featuring an ISOCELL or IMX300 sensor that is similar to the Sony Xperia Z5.

Samsung has reportedly filed for patents for a Britecell trademark which could make the Samsung Galaxy S7 the first to make use of the technology that includes a half-inch sensor.

Other than that, other sketchy information reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will also have a 32-bit DA converter and that the outer shell will be made of sturdy material — a magnesium alloy shell.

It remains to be seen what other features eager Samsung Galaxy S7 customers would be looking for, although expect more leaks and rumors to come out until the alleged February release date.
