There have been a lot of talks about the Samsung Galaxy S7 and rumor mills never seem to run out of details to churn, the latest of which by HDblog should come as good news to long-time Samsung fans. Just recently, a report emerged that the most talked about flagship will have expandable storage.

Fans of Samsung would love to know that the forthcoming smartphone will mark the return of the microSD slot, which the tech company decided to ditch in its current flagship Samsung Galaxy S6. BGR notes that fans were let down by this move even though the rest of the phone's specs were great.

But it looks like Samsung has heard the outcry of users and so microSD cards will reportedly be back in business in the Samsung Galaxy S7. If Samsung is correcting the mistakes it made this year, it wouldn't be a surprise seeing the battery removable again as well – another protested Galaxy S6 change.

HDblog adds that the flagship will come in standard 5.2-inch flat display and another phablet-sized version, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, will have a curved touchscreen (curved on top and bottom) measuring 5.7 inches.

Leakster Evan Blass recently reported that two variants of the Samsung Galaxy S7 are already in testing by U.S. carrier AT&T. He added that the flagship is expected to show up in the first quarter of next year. Rumors make this specific, suggesting it will be by February.

Some of the other specs expected on the forthcoming smartphone include a 3D Touch-like feature care of the ClearForce Technology by Synaptics and a premium magnesium build that will allow it to stay light and sleek while housing great power.

It is also expected that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will come equipped with its in-house Exynos 8890 chipset, with some units of the device to be fitted out with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
