Fans are already waiting for Samsung's next flagship iterations, particularly its upcoming offering from the Galaxy S series.

While the South Korea-based company has yet to announce details on the Galaxy S7, speculations on what could be the upgrades for the next-gen flagship are already circulating online.

According to Techno Buffalo, one major change for the upcoming flagship is that the Galaxy S7 will showcase Samsung's switch to ClearForce display. The technology is Samsung's answer to Apple's 3D Touch and will enable the Galaxy S7 to unlock new options for apps and programs depending on the pressure of the touch.

Meanwhile, Know Your Mobile surmised that while Samsung will still use its signature look and design for the Galaxy S7, it will make differences in the specs and other features as well.

The industry follower said rumors are saying that Samsung heard customer feedback and will reportedly return the microSD support to the Galaxy S7 (the feature was absent from the previous Galaxy S5 and S6 flagships). However, it is unclear if Samsung will re-introduce the feature as a hot-swappable option on the side of the device or, like previous iterations before adopting the glass-and-metal design, will also feature a removable back panel.

If it will be the latter, then fans may also see the return of a removable battery.

Tech Times also added to the predictions, saying that based on leaks and renders, the Galaxy S7 lineup will come out in three variants, with the displays measuring 5.1 inches, 5.5 inches and 6.0 inches. The industry follower added that the 5.1-inch version will be the base model Galaxy S7 with a regular screen; meanwhile, the 5.5-inch display will be for the Galaxy S7 Edge, and the largest will be the Galaxy S7 Plus.
