More details about Samsung's upcoming flagship phone, the Galaxy S9 and S9+, have been leaked -- and if rumors are true, then potential consumers can expect that the smartphone will be made available in a variety of options in terms of storage. On top of that, details of the upcoming phone's RAM have also been revealed. It is expected that there will be a slight difference between the S9 and the S9+ apart from their sizes.

The leaks came from someone in China, and was leaked through their messaging app Weibo. The message was wholly in Chinese characters, and when derived, they state that the Galaxy S9 will be offered in two variants. Specifically, there will be a 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage, as well as a 4 GB RAM with 128 GB of internal storage.

On the other hand, the S9+ will have a slight advantage in RAM, with 6 GB, and will be offered in three variants -- a 6 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage,  6 GB RAM with 128 GB of internal storage, and 6 GB RAM with 256 GB. It is apparent that the S9+ will be offered in more options, since consumers will only have two options for the S9.

Another exciting detail that was shared by the leak was that there will be a special S9+ limited edition model, and will be packed with 6 GB of RAM, and a whopping 512 GB capacity of internal storage. However, it is important to keep in mind that these leaks are just mere rumors, with no other means of confirming them as of the moment.

Meanwhile, it is highly anticipated that Samsung will be announcing more details during the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES), wherein the Korean-based technology is expected to unveil its upcoming flagship smartphones. The event will take place from Jan. 8 to 12 in Las Vegas.
