Rumors have started circulating that Samsung is readying another Galaxy Tab addition, the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced. The speculations seem to have some truth to them as the specs sheet of the new slate was seen once again online.

According to Android Community, a new PDF document lists the specs of the upcoming slate, and it matches the previous rumors from benchmark sites. This means that when the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced rolls out, fans can expect to see a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, an octa-core chipset, and at least 2GB of RAM. Reportedly, the new slate also comes with 32GB of storage onboard, expandable via microSD card. As a new device, the Galaxy Tab iteration is also expected to come out with Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.

The industry follower is not sure how "advanced" the upcoming slate is, given that it still lists mid-range specs. However, it should be noted that the upcoming tablet has some minor improvements over other tablets in the lineup and it is most likely an improved version of its Galaxy Tab 4 predecessor. An upgrade version is already expected, given that the original Galaxy Tab 4 launched almost two years ago.

NeuroGadget surmises that one of the noted improvements in the upcoming Advanced version may be in its camera. While most recent releases in the Galaxy Tab lineup also have 5MP and 2MP setups, the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced is expected to come out with additional options for image capture, like flash, autofocus, and face detection. In addition, it is said that the new slate is capable of full HD recording with its cameras.

There is no release date yet confirmed for the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced, but Samsung may reveal the new slate soon.
