Once again, the rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 made an appearance online, strongly suggesting that it may be released at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in March. News about the tablet has been making the rounds for quite some time now.

A device with model number SM-T555 was recently spotted again in import/export website Zauba where it showed that the tablet features a 9.7-inch screen display with 4:3 aspect ratio. The pixel density is similar to that of Apple's iPad Air 2, hinting that Samsung will battle head on with Apple's slate. Although the listing did not specifically state that the tablet will feature a 4:3 aspect ratio, the reported size of the screen display is a giveaway as there is no tablet with such panel rendering a different resolution.

This is not the first time that information about Samsung's Galaxy Tab 5 was leaked online. A tablet bearing the same code first appeared on Zauba's website in December, claiming that the device was sent to India for R&D purposes. The first outing revealed no specifications. It was followed by another leak claiming that Samsung will release a number of tablets.

Previous rumors claimed that Samsung is working on the successors of the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note tablets. According to reports, the Galaxy Tab SM-T35x and the Galaxy Note SM-P35x will be 7-inch slates, while the Galaxy Tab SM-T55x and the Galaxy Note SM-P55x will feature 10.1-inch displays. These will reportedly be powered by the entry level Snapdragon 410 SoC with 64-bit architecture and the latest version of Android Lollipop.

There are reports saying that the tablets will appear at the MWC 2015, while others state that the slates' release date could be in the second or third quarter of 2015.

These information, however, should be taken with a grain of salt as Samsung has so far not confirmed whether it is indeed working on a set of new generation tablets.
