Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date, specs rumors: Tablet arrives 2017; possible specs teased
There has been no confirmation when the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be released in the market, but it is expected to be launched in 2017. Meanwhile, only a few of the anticipated features of the new Samsung tab have been revealed so far.
The latest release of a Samsung Tablet – the Galaxy Tab S2 – was in 2015, which created speculations that the next Samsung Galaxy Tab will be released this 2016 since Samsung launches new tablets yearly. But since the year is already nearing December, the S3 is expected to be released in 2017.
Sammobile suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will debut in the first quarter of 2017, with model numbers already in place.
According to Trusted Reviews, the Galaxy Tab S3 has also made its visit to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where every tablet or smartphone is examined in the U.S. before it reaches the market. This indicates that the launch of the new tablet is on the horizon.
There are two events next year where the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is anticipated to debut. The new Samsung tablet could debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that will happen in January 2017 in Las Vegas, or at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) that will happen in Barcelona in February next year.
With the release of the Galaxy Tab S3 anticipated, only a few speculated features have been spread in the Samsung community. According to journalist and leakster Evan Blass, there are three design features that can be expected from the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.
There won't be any big changes from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, but the display's aspect ration will return to 16:10 from 4:3.
Blass anticipates that there will be two colors for the Galaxy Tab S3, white and black. Because of the S2's gold option, the S3 is also expected to have a gold variant as well.
According to PC Advisor, the cameras are expected to have 8Mp at the back camera and 2Mp at the front camera. The S3 is anticipated to have a Micro-USB port as well for its battery charging.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to debut in early 2017.
