According to a report from Tech Radar, there is an ongoing rumor that the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 could be released as early as Sept. 1. According to the report, the company may be unveiling the device in the upcoming weeks before officially releasing it to the market on the first day of September.

The report continues to state that the Tab S2 was announced in July last year but it did not see a full release until September 2015. It was speculated that the same would happen for the Tab S3 but the month of July has come and gone without a single word coming from Samsung.

It is now expected that Samsung will make an announcement within the next weeks before officially releasing it to the public market. However, the company has yet to confirm or deny if the rumors are true or not.

According to the report, the display may feature a 2048x1536 resolution and that it might utilize a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM. It is speculated to feature a 4,000 mAh battery and 32GB storage. The report states it might feature an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.

The report further states that when the tablet does come out it is likely going to cost no less than $399 based on the price of the Tab S2 when it launched and how far its price has gone down in the year that passed. The report gives a speculation that it might start with a suggested retail price of $499 for the base version.

One of the more prevalent rumors is that the Tab S3 will come in two sizes. There will be the standard 8-inch as well as the 9.7-inch version, similar to the two versions of the Tab S2. It is speculated that this is Samsung's attempt to rival the multiple sizes of the iPad Pro.
