The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was earlier rumored to arrive in September, which did not happen. Now it is speculated again that the WiFi and LTE-capable tablet will launch during the first quarter of next year.

Sam Mobile reports that the South Korean electronics manufacturing giant has decided to have some change of plans with its upcoming tablet. The Galaxy Tab S3 that contains the model numbers SM-T820 and SM-T825 will then be unveiled in the first quarter of 2017.

The publications also confirmed that the SM-T820 device is the WiFi variant, while the SM-T825 model is the LTE version. The current model number also follows the sequence of the previous generation, which bears SM-T810 and SM-T815 model numbers respectively.

Unfortunately, additional information about the tablet is close to nothing. No leaks have happened so far for the device that even their screen sizes remains unknown. It is then speculated to be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) that is set to happen sometime in February, together with the Galaxy S8.

Speaking of the Samsung Galaxy S8, it is rumored that the company has started the development of its firmware. The software is said to initially support China, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, South Korea, United Kingdom, and users from the United States. Support for other countries will follow.

Recent leaks also suggest that there will be two variants to arrive, a 5.1-inch curved Super AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 5.5-inch model with a 4K resolution. It is also speculated that certain markets will have models that contain the 10 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 830, while other markets will have models running on the Exynos 8895 chip.

Last year's Galaxy Tab S was announced to have an 8.0-inch model and a 9.7-inch model, with Exynos 5433 and Snapdragon 652 processors. It was also announced that they came with variants that have a 3 GB RAM and 32/64 GB internal storage. The slate also arrived with an 8 MP autofocus main camera and a 2.1 MP shooter at the front.
