An 18.4-inch Samsung tablet is indeed real and it is in fact already on pre-order (or at least it was). Given the name Samsung Galaxy View, the monstrous slab had its own listing on Adorama until the online retailer took it down.

Sadly, visiting the page will now will welcome users with an "Item not found" notice, which could mean that the moment the company became aware of what looks like the giant tablet's inadvertent surfacing and an internal blunder, the page was removed.

Before the listing disappeared, media outlets, as usual, managed to snag juicy details about its specs and pricing. The Samsung Galaxy View, which is touted to be one's portable TV screen, was given a $599.99 price tag. The specs and features listed reflect those gathered by the rumor mill.

The display of the device really measures 18.4 inches. Unfortunately, it only has Full HD resolution, which should not look the greatest in a 120ppi pixel density. An Exynos 7580 processor that Adorama called Carmen2 does the driving in this behemoth of a tablet. This goes hand in hand with 2-GB RAM.

Users will get 32 GB of native storage in the Samsung Galaxy View. It apparently has a microSD slot so that allows users to expand the in-house memory to 128 GB. Every connectivity support needed is integrated in the tablet too.

The 18.4-inch monster only has a 2.1-MP for a camera and it's located on the front. It should take decent selfies and it is even capable of Full HD video capture. As many would have guessed, there won't be a camera on the back, considering the device's size.

To keep the 18.4-inch Samsung Galaxy View alive is a 5,700-mAh battery, which should last at least eight and half hours. The only thing the Adorama did not dish was the actual release date of the highly anticipated tablet.
