When Samsung launched its newest smartphone flagships, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, fans of the Korea-based tech giant immediately loved their sleek design and high-end specs. However, even if the two devices are touted as the best smartphones the company has released in recent years, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are still not immune to innumerable bugs and glitches.

Just recently, S6 and S6 Edge owners reported a software glitch that randomly hides the quick notification toggles for the devices such as the quick access toggles for WiFi, private mode, and mobile data. Users immediately found out about the bug since one of the new features of these models is the conveniently-located quick settings toggle.

Samsung has already announced that it is working on the problem. The company has suggested that users try backing up their data first and then doing a factory reset. In addition, most tech observers say that one quick fix to the problem is to install third-party APKs or apps and use them to control the quick settings menu rather than relying on the native toggles. However, most third-party apps contain bloatware that may clog up the phone's storage. In most extreme cases, apps can also hide malware that targets the phone's software.

Finally, Samsung has released its own version of an app that helps users control the quick setting menu. Called the QuickPanel Restore, installing the app and using it quickly adds the missing toggles on the quick settings list. In addition, there is no need for the app to stay installed once the toggles list become complete, and users can choose to immediately uninstall the app once used.

The QuickPanel Restore is currently available for download at the Galaxy Apps Store.
