Samsung S6 and S6 Edge bugs and issues: RAM glitch bared

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge owners are in for a shock, as bugs for the company's latest flagships keep piling up. 

According to latest reports, Samsung itself warned users that some of the batches shipped out for the new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge devices have some performance issues. The glitch is due to the RAM management concerns. While it is true that both devices have 3 GB of RAM, poor management of the phones' memories causes problems with the performance, as only 400 MB of memory is left as available portion at any time. 

In developer and user forums, most of the thread starters point out that their S6 and S6 Edge devices either freeze when multiple apps are opened at one time or apps would close prematurely after loading repeatedly. In addition, there seems to be a host of other bugs that plague the new flagship devices of Samsung. Some users report that aside from the memory issues, their devices also have connectivity and battery glitches. 

The connectivity bugs are like those reported on the iOS 8's glitch, wherein Wi-Fi connectivity is slow and unstable. Meanwhile, a combination of memory leaks and a host of other glitches make the battery life for an S6 or an S6 Edge much shorter than what is expected. 

Samsung has already admitted the memory problems, and has confirmed that it is working on micro updates to fix the numerous glitches and improve the phones' performance.

On the Samsung U.K. Facebook site, an official answered a question from an S6 user, saying, "Micro-updates are in the process of being rolled out to correct issues relating to device performance and stability ... Keep checking for these on your device via Settings > About device > Software update > Update now."
