Samsung unveiled another groundbreaking innovation that would definitely change how the world views wireless charging.

The South Korean tech giant introduced the new SE370 monitor Tuesday with its built-in integrated mobile wireless charging pad. The monitor, which can be purchased in either a 23.6-inch or 27-inch variety, is compatible with any mobile device that comes with the Qi wireless charging technology.

Charging is possible with the help of the custom-made wireless charging pad installed at the bottom of the monitor. This could lessen the need for messy, tangled wires for charging since users only need to place their handset underneath the circular charging spot to begin the process. Users will know that the device is already charging once they see the LED indicator light up.

Aside from the wireless charging capability of the new Samsung monitor, it also has 1080p display resolution, an HDMI-in port, a built-in DisplayPort, as well as a D-sub connector. The SE370 monitor also allows users to enjoy watching videos or playing video games with a very wide 178-degree viewing angle. It also has the Eco Saving Plus function to lessen energy consumption by as much as 10 percent.

Samsung's Senior Vice President of Visual Display Business Seok-gi Kim explained the need for the new innovation brought by the new monitor.

"Technology should support, not interfere with, active lifestyles. Our customers increasingly rely on mobile devices to obtain information and interact with others; so by doing away with the clutter on their desks, we are helping them to use their mobile devices in a smarter way," the Samsung exec stated in Samsung Electronics' official blog .

He added, "Through the integration of wireless mobile charging technology, our innovative SE370 monitor dramatically improves efficiency, convenience and connectivity at home and at work – representing another significant milestone in our long history of industry-firsts."

The Samsung SE370 monitor can be used with either Windows or Mac devices. However, the South Korean company has yet to reveal the actual release date and pricing of their new product.
