Samsung has officially revealed the launch date for two of its devices, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5, according to sources.

It will be during an event called Samsung Galaxy Unpacked, which will be held in New York City on August 13, as reported in WCCF Tech.

Aside from the fact that the upcoming devices excite Samsung fanatics, a teaser from the Korean tech may have given away what people can see in the upcoming Unpacked event.

Based on an image of the teaser, which is described to show edges of the devices, there were not only two but three devices that led to the speculation of a mystery device set to be released on the same Unpacked event.

According to WCCF Tech, the third device may likely be a new tablet from Samsung.

There's that and there's also reports on a Galaxy S6 Mini, because that's the hype nowadays—tech companies creating a smaller version of high-end flagships, as reported by PhoneArena.

The report showed an image of the supposedly "Galaxy S6 Mini," in which the phone's model appears in the device's screen. The tech news outlet also stated that the image was not in any way falsified.

Forbes also speculated that a mini would have the same design as Galaxy S6, meaning the same metal frame and glass panels, but a downgraded system to make it more affordable than the flagship device.

There are no further details on the mini version but according to rumors online, the specs include a Snapdragon 808 SoC processor, with 2GB RAM, a 4.6- or 4.7-inch 720p display and 15-megapixel camera.

The aforementioned versions of a "mystery device" are mere speculations and people will only have to wait for August 13.

A live streaming will be available, which will begin at 16:00 UK time.

Given the leaked image supplied to PhoneArena, the mini version appears to be in its completed form and it won't be a big surprise if it will be introduced on the upcoming event.
