The San Antonio Spurs are expected to be the landing spot of Pau Gasol, at least according to a new comment made by his brother Marc Gasol, who has expressed his opinion about the team.

When asked if the Spurs will be a fitting new home for his big brother, he said via Hoopshype, "I think so. What the franchise represents, how the franchise works, how the club treats the players, the winning culture."

This is not the first time Marc talked about a switch to Spurs being the best move for his brother in the upcoming NBA trade. Back in April, he was quoted several times about urging Pau to move to Spurs.

Marc admires how the Spurs works as a franchise and manages it. He also believes that at his brother's age (Pau is 35 years old), it would be unwise for him to move to a team other than Spurs.

The Spurs is a team of old hands and veterans. Pau will not only effortlessly fit the club, he will also be a precious asset to the team by drastically improve the team's offense game.

When he was a free agent last time, Pau made the jump to Chicago Bulls, with Spurs so close to nabbing him. This year's NBA free agency trade might finally bring him to the team many think he belongs to.

It is especially interesting for Marc to push Pau to Spurs since it is his team's (Memphis Grizzlies) rival in the Southwest Division. If Marc successfully convinces Marc, fans will get the chance to watch the two clash in the court.

Meanwhile, NBA trade rumors also suggest that the Spurs will take in Malcolm Brogdon. According to Hoops Habit, it will be wise of the team to take the Virginia superstar at no. 29 draft pick.

The site believes that this college basketball season saw Brogdon on a roll. Last season, he was hailed the ACC Player of the Year and averaged 18.2 points per game.

Hoops Habit adds that Brogdon's playing style will fit right in with the Spurs, which means that he will master the play system of the team without effort.
