San Diego Comic-Con 2015: NBC, SyFy, AMC panel lineups announced

With less than a month left before entertainment and comic book enthusiasts gather for the annual San Diego Comic-Con in California, TV networks are starting to announce their participation in the long-running multi-genre event. 

SyFy

Recently, SyFy sent out a press release that reveals the network's panel and screening schedules for the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con. It will present six of its most popular programs, namely "The Expanse," "12 Monkeys," "Childhood's End," "Z Nation," "Dominion," and "Sharknado 3." 

SyFy's presentation starts on Thursday, July 9, with the screening of the first two episodes of "Dominion" season 2. This will be followed on Friday, July 10, by the panel appearance of "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!" cast members Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Cassie Scerbo, and David Hasselhoff, and the show's director Anthony C. Ferrante and writer Thunder Levin. 

Saturday, July 11, will be very busy for SyFy, since it will conduct four separate panel discussions for "Childhood's End," "12 Monkeys," "Z Nation," as well as the panel and screening for "The Expanse." 

NBC

Meanwhile, NBC is also heading to the San Diego Comic-Con for the panel appearance of the cast of "Grimm" on July 11. The show's executive producers Jim Kouf, David Greenwalt and Norberto Barba will be joined by actors David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee to answer questions about the show. 

Then on Sunday, July 12, the network will introduce "Heroes: Reborn" to the panel by presenting a trailer. Series creator Tim Kring will answer questions after the screening, and he will be joined by actors Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Gatlin Green, Henry Zebrowski, Judith Shekoni, Danika Yarosh and Rya Kihlstedt. 

AMC

AMC will also bring back the cast and crew of fan-favorite "The Walking Dead" for a panel discussion and autograph signing on July 10. Stars of the show like Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James and Sonequa Martin-Green will be present for the event. 

"TWD's" companion series "Fear The Walking Dead" will be making its first San Diego Comic-Con appearance on the same day. It will be attended by stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Lorenzo James Henrie, Ruben Blades, and Mercedes Mason, as well as series showrunner David Erickson and its producers. They will also sign autographs. 

Both events will be attended by executive producer and comic book author Robert Kirkman. 

The network's soon-to-be released martial arts series "Into the Badlands" will also join the event on July 11, and it will feature stars like Daniel Wu, Marton Csokas, Aramis Knight, Emily Beecham and Orla Brady to answer questions from the panel. 

Most of the events for the San Diego Comic-Con 2015 will be conducted at the San Diego Convention Center starting July 9 up to July 12. The rest of the program schedule is expected to be announced two weeks prior to the event.
