San Diego Comic Con 2016 dates, guests: hot panel list includes 'Rick and Morty', 'The 100', 'Bates Motel'

Pop culture fans will have their eyes set on the events happening at the San Diego Convention Center for the 2016 San Diego Comic Con next week.

The 47th annual entertainment trade show, which will run from July 21 to July 24, will showcase some of the most popular movies, TV shows and comics series. An estimated 130,000 attendees will flock from all over the world to learn more about their favorite pop culture icons and catch the biggest celebrities who will present their upcoming projects.

On July 21, CBS TV Studios will conduct a block event that will feature a panel for three of its shows, including "American Gothic," "Scorpion" and "MacGyver." It will be attended by some of the network's fan-favorite stars such as Daniela Ruah, Wilmer Valderrama, Eric Christian Olsen, Daniel Henney, Kirsten Vangsness and James Wolk. The block panel will be conducted at the Ballroom 20 starting 12 noon up to 3 p.m.

Executive producer Jeff Davis will also bring the cast of MTV's "Teen Wolf" to present the first trailer for the show's sixth season at the panel that will be held at Ballroom 20 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. A panel will also be moderated by Chris Hardwick for USA Network's "Mr. Robot," which will be attended by the show's lead stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Carly Chaikin, Grace Gummer and Portia Doubleday

The scheduled Friday events include a panel featuring Fox's "Bones" stars such as Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz, TJ Thune, and Michaela Conlin, among others. AMC will also conduct separate panels with the "Fear the Walking Dead" and "The Walking Dead" casts, while HBO's "Game of Thrones" has big plans for their event at the Hall H that will be attended by some of their biggest stars, including John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Conleth Hill, Faye Marsay, Kristian Nairn, Iwan Rheon and Sophie Turner as well as showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff.

Meanwhile, the events on Saturday, July 23, include the panel featuring "Once Upon a Time" cast members like Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, Emilie de Ravin, Josh Dallas, Rebecca Mader, Colin O'Donoghue and Jared Gilmore. Several shows from The CW will also conduct their own presentation at this year's SDCC, including "The Vampire Diaries," "The Originals," "Supergirl," "The Flash," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," "Arrow" and two of its newest shows, "Frequency" and "Riverdale."

For the last day of the annual trade show and convention, fans will finally hear more information about FOX's upcoming "Prison Break" and "24: Legacy." Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell and the other original stars of the returning "Prison Break" series will be present during the event, as well as the new "24" cast members including Corey Hawkins and Miranda Otto.
