The Christmas season is upon us, which means that the children of the world will be expecting Santa Claus to pay them a visit to deliver their awaited Christmas presents. With today's advanced technology, and children being well-versed in them as well, it is now possible to track Santa's whereabouts after his departure from the North Pole through a myriad of existing tracking devices.

One of the best and reliable sources for tracking Santa Claus' trips is through the website of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), which has been practicing this Yuletide tradition since 1955. NORAD has been utilizing its satellites and other tracking devices to inform the general public of Santa's travels from Christmas Eve until Christmas morning. This means that Santa may appear all around the globe, given NORAD's scope.

In this day and age, children will be able to check the NORAD website for this, and can even make a game out of tracking Santa with their siblings, friends, and their family as well. Another website that can be used for the same purpose is the NORAD Tracks Santa app, which can be found on Amazon. This app is just one of the many apps that can be used by anyone to make the holidays a little bit more fun and exciting.

Fortunately, the NORAD Tracker will be available in eight different languages, which means that more children will be able to partake in this long-running tradition of tracking Santa Claus.

Birmingham has estimated that given Santa's busy schedule, he would have to travel about 510 million kilometers in order to duly deliver his presents to all the nice children for Christmas. On top of that, there will be volunteers who will be working on Christmas Eve to answer calls from children who will be asking for updates regarding Santa's trips. The NORAD Santa tracker will be available for both the Android and iPhone.
