If the teasers from the cast turn out to be true, then the season 4 finale of "Scandal" will be bloodier than ever. 

During Friday night's panel at the Directors Guild of America, lead star Kerry Washington said that she was shocked when she found out the story for this season's finale. 

"This finale episode, I mean, I just ... I turned to Shonda [Rhimes]. I was like, 'Where do we go from here? Are you for real? Now what?' It's crazy," the actress who portrays the role of main character Olivia Pope stated. 

Even Bellamy Young, who plays the role of First Lady Mellie Grant, could not believe the implication of the final episode, saying, "Shonda has shown no mercy." 

Meanwhile, actor Guillermo Diaz revealed during his latest interview with PEOPLE that he is excited for what his character Huck has in store for fans in the final episode. 

"My first thought was how happy I was that Huck gets to do what he does in the finale. I can't believe what Shonda has him doing," Diaz claimed. 

He also said that the finale episode for this season will be the biggest one yet, and at least three other characters will die before the end of the season. 

Meanwhile, the official synopsis for the finale episode titled "You Can't Take Command" reads:

Everything comes to a head in the shocking season finale when Olivia and the team finally make some big moves to take down Command, and Mellie's fate is sealed as the election results are announced."

Will Olivia finally pin down the devious plans of her father Rowan Pope (Joe Morton) to be able to eradicate the B-613 before the end of this season? 

"Scandal" season 4 episode 22 is slated to air on Thursday, May 14, on ABC.
