Olivia (Kerry Washington) sure looks like she has moved on from Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) in the second half of the current season of the hit ABC series "Scandal."

The new promo for the upcoming midseason premiere shows the fixer getting hot and heavy with none other than former boyfriend Jake (Scott Foley). Olivia left Fitz when she had had enough of being cooped up in the White House. She told the POTUS that their relationship was not going anywhere. Fitz did not know it, but Olivia was pregnant at the time. When she left, she had the baby aborted, a sign that she did not want any reminder of their love affair.

While many fans hope that the pair will still end up together, the chances are becoming slim, as the teaser shows that Jake is back to sweep Olivia off her feet. In the clip, he is telling her that he does not like waiting, perhaps pertaining to the day Olivia will return to him and completely forget Fitz. For her part, the fixer angrily answers, "Then don't!" What comes as a complete surprise is the next scene showing the two passionately kissing outside an elevator.

Meanwhile, Katie Lowes, who plays Quinn, one of Olivia's Gladiators, talked about the second half of "Scandal" season 5 to TV Line. According to her, there would be so much in store for all the characters in the series. Quinn, in particular, would be getting a lot of airtime.

"Time has kind of done its thing to everybody... The back half of the season has so much stuff going on that mimics real life, it's crazy. There's social commentary, like the lawn chair episode or when we took on rape in the military. There's also a lot of Quinn-ery. There's a lot of Quinning, a lot of winning... a lot of, 'I'm Quinn, bitch,'" she said.

"Scandal" season 5 will return on Feb. 11 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
