Rowan's (Joe Morton) life is entirely in the hands of Huck (Guillermo Diaz) in the upcoming winter finale of the hit ABC series "Scandal."

In "Baby, It's Cold Outside," the minute-and-a-half teaser shows Huck threatening Olivia's (Kerry Washington) father. Rowan can be seen tied up in a chair while Huck is standing guard and doing something with his laptop. Rowan is asking his kidnapper who he is working for and even queries if it is his daughter. Last episode, Huck decided to take matters into his own hands and abduct Rowan. He and Jake (Scott Foley) have been planning a heist against their former commander, but it turned out the former was hatching a scheme of his own.

But while Huck appears to have the upper hand, the older man sure knows how to push the buttons of his former B613 agent. He starts talking about Huck's son, Javi (Jaden Betts), and his wife, Kim (Jasika Nicole). Rowan knows all about Huck's past and he certainly is aware about what happened to his family. It was he who forced Huck to leave them, citing the rule in B613 that agents should never have a family of their own. Rowan taunts Huck if he thinks Javi misses him or the boy is already happy now that "his insane shell of a human father" is out of the picture again.

The next thing viewers see is Huck standing over Rowan and is about to choke the life out of him. For his part, Rowan is egging him on, saying that this is the "son" that he knows and respects. Rowan tells Huck to "do it," urging him to end his life once and for all. Will Huck really kill Rowan? In an interview with Variety, Morton revealed whether or not Olivia's (Kerry Washington) "gladiator" will kill his character.

"I think you should be scared. Huck is there for a very powerful life reason so the stakes are very high for him. Yes, I think you should be afraid for Papa Pope," he said.

"Scandal" season 5 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
