Peus will be taking another victim in order to gain control of the white house. Meanwhile, Olivia's (Kerry Washington) life is in danger if Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) takes the presidency.

On the next episode of "Scandal" season 6, titled "Trojan Horse," Peus will be taking another victim to gain power over the white house.

"Olivia and the team are determined to bring down Peus, but as the Electoral College vote nears, the fight for power claims another victim," the episode listing on The Futon Critic reads.

As seen from the episode 11 promo, it appears that Peus wants Mellie (Bellamy Young) to become the next president of the United States. Papa Pope (Joe Mortin) is seen telling his daughter that "If Cyrus Beene becomes president, they will kill you."

This will be a big problem for Olivia since it has been announced that Cyrus Been is innocent from the murder of Francisco Vargas (Ricardo Chavira) and will most likely gather the majority of the votes because he is the vice president-elect to the previous president-elect.

However, Mellie is still fighting her way to the presidency, which might bring the odds in favor of Olivia Pope. One more thing that Olivia will have to deal with is her conscience for bringing down Cyrus Beene even though she has learned that he's innocent of Frankie's murder.

Meanwhile, series creator Shonda Rhimes admits that she doesn't know what the end game is for "Scandal" season 6 anymore.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rhimes revealed that they're actually copying what's happening in real life in regards to the events that revolve around the white house.

But now, "I used to know how it ended, and then Donald Trump was elected. We had a destination, and I don't know if that's our destination anymore," she added.

"Scandal" season 6 airs every Thursday night at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
