This year, the CBS Action Drama "Scorpion" will make its return for its third season, with its executive producer Nick Wootton promising fans that this upcoming new season will be much better than the last.

Recently, in the San Diego Comic-Con, Wootton was interviewed, revealing that the new season of "Scorpion" will be action-packed and emotional. Furthermore, new revelations will be dropped; after all, Happy (played by Jadyn Wong) turned out to be married, which certainly shocked the entire team.

He further explained that the season finale of the last season will leave them a lot of cleaning up, since it affected the character in many significant ways. He even went so far as to say that when the show picks up with Toby (played by Eddie Kaye Thomas), he will be even deeper into the bottle of tequila he has been chugging.

With Happy's first revelation being her marriage, fans can expect that the second part of this revelation to be disclosed once the third season of "Scorpion" is out. Ecumenical News states that it is possible that this reveal will have something to do with the person Happy married, and that she will be conflicted due to the fact that she has a rather strong connection with Toby.

Another highlight teased by Wootton for the third season is Walter (played by Elyes Gabel) and his struggles in order to become more mature emotionally. Also, Cabe (played by Robert Patrick) will have a new love interest and Ralph (played by Riley Smith) will be translating a boy with autism who gets lost in the city. He assures that the third season of "Scorpion" will feature more of the personal lives of their characters, making them more human and relatable.

"Scorpion" will have its third season premiere on Oct. 3 with a 2-hour special episode on CBS.
