Game developer Scott Cawthon already announced that "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" will be the final chapter of the fan-favorite video game franchise. Yet it seems like that he already changed his mind.

In his official website, Cawthon posted a logo with the words "Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location," complete with a creepy-looking animatronic face as its background. It also included the words "There was never just one."

The previous "Five Nights at Freddy's" games all mentioned a "sister location" of the Freddy Fazbear Pizza restaurant. This could mean that players of the game could finally see the reported other location of the game with the upcoming release from Cawthon.

However, not everyone is excited to explore the reported "sister location." According to US Gamer, the game creator earned a lot of haters for coming up with four games in a year. The haters believe that Cawthon already exhausted all possible exciting features of the game because of that.

But the game creator refuted the claims in a comment that he posted on Steam Community, saying that he appreciated all the feedbacks and taking them all by heart. Yet he promised that the new game will still provide more unexpected twists. According to Cawthon, "This one will definitely be different; there are a lot of surprises in store!"

He also acknowledged all the criticisms thrown at his popular game franchise. In a statement addressed to his fans, the game creator said: "Don't feel bad about anything. I'm here for the fans and supporters of the franchise. Haters gonna hate. It doesn't bother me, so don't let it bother you."

But could Cawthon really pull off a new "Five Nights at Freddy's" game after his highly disastrous "Five Nights at Freddy's World" spin-off that came out in January 2016?

Cawthon has yet to reveal more information about his new game in the coming days.
