Three weeks after Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick split up, the latter broke his silence on their breakup while hosting a party at 1OAK Nightclub in Las Vegas on Friday, July 24. 

Us Weekly reported that the 32-year-old father of three spoke with reporters on the red carpet and that he told them that he is "just taking it one day at a time." 

"With everything going on right now, I need to be positive for myself," said Disick. 

A source told the magazine that he arrived at 12:15 a.m. and wore a grey suit and a white shirt for the event. The insider added that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was constantly checking his phone and only drank water at his VIP table. 

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Kardashian is seeking joint custody of their three children with Disick as she wants her children to have a "meaningful relationship" with their father.  

She is said to have met up with famed divorce lawyer Laura Wasser in order to sort out a custody arrangement that would give both her and her ex-boyfriend a fair amount of time with their children — Mason, 5; Penelope, 3; and Reign, 7 months. The website adds that Kardashian met with Wasser on Monday, July 20. TMZ also claims that Disick made no mention of wanting child support, as he is said to be earning enough by himself through his various endeavors, including his club appearances, TV shows, businesses, and a reportedly significant inheritance. 

Disick was reunited with his children last week after enjoying a holiday in Europe. During his vacation, the reality star was photographed getting cozy with his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli, and the photos reportedly prompted Kardashian to split with him after nine years of being together. 

The couple's relationship and Disick's struggles with alcohol — for which he has entered rehab more than once — have been chronicled on past episodes of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
