The first trailer for Ryan Murphy's brand new TV series "Scream Queens" is finally out, showing the latest horror series that fans should look forward to this year.

On Friday the 13th, Murphy released the trailer for the new horror-comedy anthology series that he co-created with Brad Falchuk, Dante Di Loreto and Ian Brennan. The 12-seconder video features a young blonde blowing her pink bubble gum, which suddenly becomes bloody after being popped by a knife.

Although the first trailer does not actually give away any vital information about the series, earlier reports claim that Fox's new horror-comedy anthology revolves around a series of mysterious murders that happen around a sorority house in a certain college campus.

Vanity Fair claims that the upcoming series is an unexpected combination of Murphy's other fan-favorite shows "American Horror Story" and "Glee," after casting "AHS" regular Emma Roberts and "Glee's" Lea Michele in its first season. Could this mean that the two Murphy babies will portray the roles of sorority sisters in the show? Or will both or one of them be blamed for the odd murders that happen around the campus?

Fox has already ordered 15 episodes for the freshman season of the upcoming mystery horror series.

Aside from Roberts and Michele, other notable cast members of the soon-to-be released series include veteran actress Jamie Lee Curtis, "True Blood" alum Joe Manganiello, "CrazySexyCool's" Keke Palmer, as well as "Zombieland" actor Abigail Breslin. New actors Skyler Samuels and Billie Lourd will also be introduced in the show.

Meanwhile, young actress/performer Ariana Grande and hunky musician Nick Jonas will also be featured in the season in recurring roles.

At the moment, there is no exact release date yet for the new horror-fest from Fox, but the show is scheduled to start filming this April.
