'Scream Queens' season 2 news: 4 new cast members

Fox

"Scream Queens" has been renewed for a second season, and while no specific plot details regarding the first season's characters and events have been revealed, a report from E! Online has stated that the cast has grown with the addition of four new male actors joining for season 2.

All of the four actors will be in their 20s to 30s and will reportedly play doctors, hinting that the second season will heavily involve events in a regular hospital, a therapy center, a mental hospital or even a psychiatric ward for the criminally insane.

The latter two are the most likely candidates given that the surviving characters were checked into a mental hospital, with the last shot of them in the first season gleefully eating their dinner now that they were in a safe environment and free from danger.

Despite the fact that the names of the four actors have not yet been divulged, the report does state that given that season 1 was able to include some big-name celebrities such as Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande and Abigail Breslin, it is likely that season 2 will be able to do the same.

Season 2 will see some characters returning, and of the first season's cast, it is expected to see Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin and Billie Lourd returning.

Other celebrities rumored to come in for season 2, as per Australia Network News, include singers Adam Levine, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, althoughy none of the aforementioned stars have yet confirmed they have indeed been approached for the project.

However, it is speculated by fans that there will be a time-jump between season 1 and season 2 while other fans theorize that the second season will be set somewhere else entirely and that the season 1 cast will only appear in small cameo roles or may even be killed off.
