Things will take a darker turn come "Scream Queens" season 2. It will be set in a mental hospital, the same one where the three Chanels will spend the rest of their lives after Hester managed to frame them as the murderers.

Emma Roberts's Chanel will not look as gorgeous as she was in the first season, seeing that she now lives in an asylum. Because of this, the actress teased that her character will be very different in "Scream Queens" season 2.

"I don't know what the transformation's going to be but I'm sure [the show runners will have] something up their sleeve," Roberts told Us Weekly of the change Chanel will undergo when "Scream Queens" return.

Apart from a very different Chanel, fans can also expect Hester (Lea Michele) "Scream Queens" season 2 to be far more sinister, if that is even possible, according to Michele herself.

"I don't know how I can get any darker than I did in season one but hey, whatever Ryan Murphy wants me to do I am totally down with," the actress told E! Online.

Being set in a hospital, "Scream Queens" season 2 won't even have to try hard to give it a creepy feel. Actress Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays Dean Cathy Munsch in the series, knows that very well.

"[There's] a lot of darkness in hospitals-dark hallways, scary rooms, sharp objects, a lot of blood, disinfectants," the actress said, adding "I think it'll be dark. I think it's going to be very dark."

Apart from the returning cast members from the first season of "Scream Queens," there will also be new characters to get to know.

"Scream Queens" season 2 will add four new male characters to the ensemble although there's no word on who the actors will be. They, however, will be play as doctors in the asylum.

"Scream Queens" season 2 will premiere this fall.
