"Sea of Thieves," the game set to arrive on both Xbox One and PC, just received a major endorsement from one Microsoft executive.

In a recent interview with Games Radar, Microsoft Corporate Vice President Kudo Tsunodo made the bold proclamation suggesting that "Sea of Thieves is gonna be the best game that Rare has ever made."

Tsunodo backs up his bold claims by revealing a little bit about what players can expect from the upcoming offering from United Kingdom's Rare studios.

According to Tsunodo, the reason why "Sea of Thieves" will be great is because it will be a title that will excel at allowing people to forge their own gaming memories. Tsunodo said that Rare has always been adept at allowing people to create bonds with their games through the memories they make while playing these titles, and the same experience will be available to them once they pick up "Sea of Thieves."

Tsunodo also said that players will once again find themselves committed emotionally to "Sea of Thieves" once it is released, and that they will yet again be introduced to a world they will fully enjoy getting to know.

Unfortunately, Tsunodo stopped shorting of revealing any more specific details about what fans can expect from "Sea of Thieves."

"Sea of Thieves" was first announced back in June during this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event, and will be focused mainly on a world featuring pirates, Gamespot reported. Rare has already described their upcoming title as the "most ambitious game" they have ever attempted.

Rare does have a track record of producing well regarded games, with titles such as "Banjo-Kazooie," "Kameo," and "Perfect Dark" among its offerings to the gaming world.

The gaming studio also recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.

As of now, Rare has yet to provide an official release date for "Sea of Thieves."
