Titan Comics just announced that it will be adapting the upcoming adventure video game "Sea of Thieves" into a comic book series in 2018. The first issue of the pirate adventure series will debut in March 2018.

Titan Comics will tell a story of a group of pirates afloat an unforgiving sea looking for treasure. The year 2018 is a big year for Titan with new comic book adaptation for a few video games like "Bloodborne," "Wolfenstein," "Dark Souls," and even "Tekken."

Comic book writer Jeremy White will team up with creative artist Rhoald Marcellius to bring the series to readers no matter their age. The "Sea of Thieves" comic book series will be suitable for all ages as it follows a great adventure of rival pirate crews.

Titan Comics said the comic book series will "follow two competing crews of pirates, bound by a shared past and a single destiny, as they sail the Sea of Thieves in a race to track down an ancient treasure. Along the way they'll deal with undead hordes, devious traps and their own bitter rivalries, but which crew will emerge victorious and ultimately claim the legendary loot?"

The news about the comic book adaptation was well received by people just like the announcement of the video game back in 2015. The "Sea of Thieves" video game was revealed back in 2015 during the E3 convention. The game will be made available for Xbox One and PC starting Mar. 20, 2018 by the video game company Rare. The comic book, on the other hand, does not have an official release date yet.

Titan Comics also announced that people can now pre-order the series for digital devices either through Titan, GameSpot, or Comixology. Titan also teased fans with a few sample artworks inspired by the anticipated comic book series in 2018.
