The Carolina Panthers ended the 2015 National Football League (NFL) regular season with the best record (15–1) and are beaming with confidence as they head to their Divisional Playoffs matchup versus the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday.

In a report by ESPN, Panthers cornerback Josh Norman and safety Roman Harper are looking forward to the clash.

Norman said the upcoming playoff game versus the Seahawks will be tough and that is what he wants.

"You want the tough team. I don't know why you would want the easy way out. That's not the way you should live life, the easy way out. You should always want to do something the hard way because it will mean more to you," Norman said.

The 28-year-old cornerback added that it is fate to face Seattle, also stating all teams in the playoffs will be tough to face.

Meanwhile, Harper expressed excitement and readiness, also saying, "We are the better team."

"I'm not going to say we're superior or anything like that. [But] at the end of the day we've been the better team all year long, and we've got to go out there and continue to stick to who we are and when we do this we've been very successful," the 33-year-old safety added.

In the first matchup between the Panthers and the Seahawks (Week 6), the Panthers rallied and scored crucial touchdowns in the fourth quarter that kept them unbeaten in the regular season, a winning streak that was only derailed with a Week 16 defeat to the Atlanta Falcons.

The Seahawks, who are the defending National Football Conference (NFC) champions, showed during that game that they are one of the teams that gave Carolina a stiff challenge.

If it were not for the late game collapse of Seattle, the Panthers might not have kept a clean record even before their defeat to the Falcons in Week 16.
