The first thing that springs to mind in this game is the NFC Championship game that the Seahawks won last time these teams met.

The Packers have tried to downplay any talk about a rematch and revenge, but coming up against the Seahawks again today will surely bring up to the surface strong feelings among the Green Bay players.

The Packers were 12 points up with just over two minutes to go in the NFC title match up against the Seahawks, and they looked like they would gain revenge for their loss against Seattle earlier in the season in Week 1. However, it all fell apart very quickly, and in heartbreaking fashion the Seahawks piled on two touchdowns in just 44 seconds to claim the win and send the Packers crashing out, stealing away a Super Bowl chance.

The way in which the defeat occurred will be one of the most painful memories for the Packers players who were part of that day, and they will surely want to wipe memories of that defeat away with a big win today against a Seahawks team that lost to the St Louis Rams in Week 1.

Sending the Seahawks crashing to 0-2 would be a sweet feeling for the Packers, but expect Seattle to go all out today as they know how important clawing their way back to 1-1 is rather than sliding to 0-2.

Week 2 in the NFL regular season will be another weekend packed full of big games.

No fewer than 14 games will be taking place on Sunday as teams look to try and gain an early advantage in their divisions in the race for the Playoffs.

Earlier this week on Thursday Night Football, the Denver Broncos improved their record to 2-0, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-24. The two teams were inseparable for the opening three quarters, and following a pointless first quarter, both teams scored 14 in the second to leave things 14-14 at half time.

In the second half things remained tight, and a field goal for each team in the third quarter saw the game enter the final quarter with the game still deadlocked.

However, the Broncos finally managed to get their noses out in front, scoring two touchdowns to one in the final quarter to maintain their perfect start to the new season.

But things did not come easy for Peyton Manning and his team. It took Broncos cornerback Bradley Roby to return Jamaal Charles' fumble to score a 21 yard touchdown with just 27 seconds remaining to win the game.

In that game, Manning threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns, the third of which came with just 36 seconds to go to tie up the game and set the stage for the dramatic finale and Roby's final touchdown.

The result will be a difficult one to swallow for the Kansas City Chiefs, who slip to 1-1, as Knile Davis had scored with just over two minutes to go to give the Chiefs the lead. However, it was not to be as the Broncos staged an amazing comeback at the death to extend their win streak over the Chiefs to seven straight games. In addition, Manning improved his personal record against the Chiefs to a stunning 14-1.

Whether today's game will be as dramatic remains to be seen.
