Earlier this week the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers faced off in the NFL season opener, and Tom Brady and co. were too much for the Steelers, winning the game 28-21.

Brady, who was set to miss the first four games of the season until a late appeal saw his suspension for "Deflategate" overturned, threw for four touchdowns in the victory. All four touchdowns were thrown to Brady's tight ends, and three went to Rob Gronkowski.

Overall Brady went 25 of 32 for 288 yards in a magnificent performance that ultimately proved the difference between the teams. The quarterback even set a franchise record for an amazing 19 consecutive pass completions.

Brady said after the game: "It was a pretty special night. I was excited, our whole team was excited. We haven't had one of these nights in a long time."

Towards the end of the game, the Patriots' fans mocked NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell over the "Deflategate" scandal. The fans chanted, "Where is Roger?" after Goodell did not attend the season opener against tradition.

However, controversy continues to follow the New England Patriots around, and after the game it emerged that a new scandal was being reported; that the Steelers' coaches couldn't communicate as they kept getting interference with their headsets, hearing Patriots' radio broadcasts. Steelers' coach Mike Tomlin was angry about the issue after the game, however, the headsets are controlled by the league and not the Patriots. The league has has said that the headset issue was simply a temporary problem and the weather had played a major part in the problems.
