It has been almost a year since Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber ended their romantic relationship, but their fans have always hoped that the two will reunite and start dating each other again. While the couple had an on-off relationship, it appears that their December 2014 split was the end of the line for them as they have both been reported to be dating other people. Gomez recently confirmed that she had a relationship with DJ Zedd, while Bieber has been linked to Hayley Baldwin, among others.

Both stars have also been focusing on their respective careers, with Gomez set to release her album "Revival" and Bieber also about to debut his new album this year. In a recent interview with Wonderland magazine, the "I Want You to Know" singer detailed how hard she worked to be her own person and how she felt "violated" by the public scrutiny of her life, particularly her breakup with the "Baby" hitmaker.

"It was very violating and I think [my album] was such an outlet for me to talk about how I see things," she told the magazine.

The singer-actress also said that her songs on the new album will give her fans a clue about what she went through during some difficult times in her life.

"I wanted the opportunity to figure out what I'm going to say and how I'm going to say it so people can understand me," said Gomez, adding that it took her a year to figure out how she was going to do it.

The star recently told Elle that she is still friends with her ex and while they're not together anymore, she will "forever support him and love him" as they grew up together. The magazine reports that the two have been recently seen in a Snapchat video having dinner with a group of their friends.

"I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner," said Gomez.
