"Jelena" fans might have welcomed brewing romance between exes Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber of late, but it was not the case for the "Bad Liar" singer's family.

The former Disney child star and the "Friends" singer had been seen numerous times together this month, though neither one confirmed or denied any reconciliation news. In line with the recent Thanksgiving, Gomez and Bieber reportedly celebrated the holiday apart from each other and with their families.

The "Wolves" singer went to Texas while Bieber headed to his hometown, Canada, to celebrate Thanksgiving. Even so, the exes Facetimed each other, a source claimed. "They are still doing really well together, but they agreed it was best for them to be with their families for the holiday," the insider revealed.

Gomez reportedly felt that bringing Bieber to Texas to grace Thanksgiving was another story. The insider continued, "Her family is still getting comfortable with the idea of them back together," the source explained. Also, Bieber plans to celebrate Christmas with the "Fetish" singer, though he knew that her family will take time to accept him.

Prior to Thanksgiving, the two had been spotted multiple times on different occasions, sparking romance rumors. The sightings started just as news broke out that Gomez and The Weeknd had decided to go their separate ways. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, and Gomez were rumored to have ended 10 months of dating due to the distance and the conflict in their schedule.

Bieber and Gomez were seen and photographed attending church together and grabbing breakfast at JOi cafĂ© in California. Aside from this, the "Wizards of the Waverly Place" star was seen during a hockey game of Bieber, where she was caught leaving the venue wearing the "Love Yourself" singer's uniform.
