"Sense8" is another hit series by Netflix whose second installment might just make it on air just before this year ends.

"Sense8" tells the stories of eight individuals from around the world, each belonging to a different country and a different background. All the individuals possess a certain ability to become one with another, enabling them to harness each other's knowledge and skills as if it was their own.

"Sense8 "provides its viewers with a fresh story, making it one of Netflix's much-awaited series, and  fans are very much delighted that word has spread about the hit series' release after one major character shared that shooting for the second season is already over.

Actor Brian J. Smith — who plays one of the "Sense8" individuals, Will Gorski — posted a photo of himself along along with the cast of "Sense8" on Twitter. The photo was captioned: "That's a wrap on @sense8 season 2. It was the adventure of a lifetime."

The same photo was also tweeted by co-star Jamie Clayton — who portrays Nomi, a transgender "Sense8" individual — with the caption "That's a wrap! What an incredible 7 months it's been! Thank you EVERYONE!!"

As for the second season's plot, actor Miguel Ángel Silvestre — who plays Hernando's lover, Lito Rodriguez — shared in an interview with TV Show Patrol that the upcoming installment will come with a storyline that will give off a sense of "deepness" that will take its viewers' mental and emotional states to great depths.

"I remember during the table reading in Berlin, we were all amazed by what Lana ("Sense8" director, Wachowski) did and the writing. Where the story is going, it's gonna be mind-blowing," said Silvestre.

On another note, rumors have spread that Sun Bak — an Asian "Sense8" individual played by Doona Bae — might not be coming back for the upcoming installment. Bae was reportedly coming back to the South Korean drama industry after leaving it for six years.

Furthermore, though speculation about Bae's return to South Korea may leave a dent in the original cast of "Sense 8," fans can expect new faces in the series' upcoming installment. Toby Onwumere will play Capheus, and Sikander Kher will portray the new enemy of the "Sense 8."

The second season of "Sense 8" will air a special episode this Christmas. However, the rest of the series are expected to be released in the first quarter of 2017.
