Shake the Ground - Worship Conference

|PIC1|Jesus said many things that on hearing causes us to be shaken to the core, reconfigured back to a place where we remember what's really important. He said of a woman called Mary, "There is really only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it."

Just one thing being concerned about, one thing worth seeking after, pursuing, one thing worth paying a great price for& spending time with him. Jesus was talking to Mary's sister, Martha, who in this situation had been caught up in misplaced activity. Full of grace, he urges Martha to down tools and abandon her busy schedule for the sake of simply spending a bit of time with him. I would love God to say of the church, She's got it! She's discovered the most important thing.' Spending time in the presence of the Father, sitting at his feet, seeking his face and learning to touch is heart - that's what we want to do.

In avid pursuit of this intimate place, we want to learn from one another and spend time asking God to place, in us, the heart-beat of a true worshipper.

Shake the Ground is just a small part of this pursuit. We're going to have a day of worship, seminars and ministry; building each other up in the calling God has given us to sit at his feet. We believe God would have something significant to say to the lead worshippers of the city of Manchester and the North West. If you're a lead instrument, technician, guitarist, drummer, bass player, singer, backing vocalist or song writer; there will be a seminar where you can share your ideas and learn from others in the same field. Over the course of the day, we will be unpacking together the roll of the prophetic in worship, being helped along by some awesome teachers, and most importantly creating space to spend some time with the Father and hear what he would say to us.
