After being unsuccessful in his built-in fort at the Gallagher house, Frank (William H. Macy) sets out to build a new Gallagher family of his own. Meanwhile, Ian (Cameron Monaghan) will decide if it is time to break up with Caleb (Jeff Pierre) for good.

Previously in "Shameless," Frank returned to the Gallagher house after regaining consciousness. Frank went into a coma after his children dropped him in Lake Michigan in the sixth season of the show.

He took Liam (Brenden Sims) under his wing and built a brick wall at the Gallagher house to create their fort. Fiona (Emmy Rossum) and the rest of the Gallaghers – except Debbie (Emma Kenney) – then broke down the wall and cut off the water supply in Frank's fort, effectively pushing them out into the streets.

In the synopsis of "Shameless" season 7, episode 3 — titled "Home Sweet Homeless Shelter" — it appears that Frank will begin assembling his new Gallagher family as seen in the season 7 trailer.

In the episode 3 trailer, Frank will visit a homeless shelter that houses adults and children, where he gets the idea to adopt his new Gallagher offspring, giving each new "family member" the exact same names. Then, Frank and his new family will be moving in and setting up residence at an abandoned for-sale house.

This won't be the last Fiona has seen of Frank. She will find out about Frank's new Gallagher family when he parades them at Patsy's Pies.

Meanwhile, Ian found out that Caleb cheated on him with a woman. In episode 3, "Ian struggles with a breakup."

Ian — though shocked that Caleb is attracted to women — tries to put himself in Caleb's shoes and plays with a woman he bumps into on a train. Unfortunately, he finds it a little too disgusting and after some advice from his brother Lip (Jeremy Allen White), he decides that it's finally time to end things with Caleb.

"Shameless" season 7 airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on Showtime.
