Fiona's (Emmy Rossum) problems with the laundromat repairs are far from over. Meanwhile, Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) has left for the military, but has Cutkosky left the show for good?

Previously in "Shameless" season 7, a bunch of maintenance problems with her recently acquired laundromat has rained down on Fiona. One of the machines started leaking, while a gas pipe was busted and almost blew up the whole building. She needed a couple thousand dollars to take care of the repairs, which she took from the Patsy's Pies fund.

In the upcoming eight episode of "Shameless" season 7 — titled "You Sold Me The Laundromat, Remember?" — it seems that Fiona's repair problems are far from over. As seen from the episode promo, the laundromat's ceiling bursts open and Fiona just about loses her mind.

According to the synopsis released by Showtime, "Fiona takes a DIY approach to renovating the laundromat. Lip agrees to go before the school board in hopes of getting reinstated. Meanwhile, Kev's trust in Svetlana wanes even further when the titty van goes missing."

While Fiona is busy with the laundromat, Frank (William H. Macy) breaks into the Gallagher house after being kicked out of the homeless shelter that he built after he was caught scamming his adopted children.

Lip (Jeremy Allen White) also faces the school board in hopes of being reinstated, but it appears that he will get in trouble again soon after he beats someone up.

On the other hand, Carl was last seen in episode 6 of "Shameless" season 7 saying goodbye to his family after he decided to join the military. With no sign of Carl in the last episode, has Cutkosky exited the show?

Carl is the family's middle child who has been carrying the Gallagher's unlucky genes quite as expected until season 7, when he started to get his act straight and decided to join the military. With Carl out of the messy Gallagher picture and making good of his life, could it be possible that he won't be returning anymore?
