The new trailer for the upcoming beat-'em-up game "Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn" was released on Feb. 1.

"Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn," developed by Big Deez Production and published by Mad Dog Games, launched a trailer on YouTube showcasing what fans may expect from the upcoming beat-'em-up game.

The one-minute trailer started with the first half reminiscing about the failure of its predecessor, the 1994 fighting game "Shaq Fu." The Genesis and SNES game released on Oct. 28, 1994 was considered as one of the worst video games of all times. The second half started with the text "Now one man has returned to settle the score of '94," plastered on the screen. The gameplay of the upcoming game was then shown, highlighting the developments the new game has undergone.

In the trailer, former professional basketball player, Shaquille "Shaq" O'Neal, who was regarded as one of the greatest basketball players in the history of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the protagonist of the game, will be fighting new enemies. Shaq will also be traveling to unique locations around the world to battle hordes of enemies from Hell and Hollywood. He will be able to utilize different costumes and use their special abilities to advance through levels. At one point in the trailer, Shaq was seen wearing a steel suit, which was what he wore in his 1997 film "Steel," in preparation for a combat.

O'Neal confirmed the possibility of a sequel for "Shaq Fu" in 2014. In March 2014, a crowdfunding campaign in Indiegogo for "Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn" was started with the funding goal of $450,000. The campaign ended in May of the same year after the funding goal was surpassed. 

"Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn" will be available soon for the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PC.
