Share Jesus retreat offers fresh thinking for church leaders

A dynamic and exciting new retreat for church leadership is being launched by Andy Frost and the team at SJI at Cliff College in March.

The retreat is an "opportunity for fresh thinking, dialogue and challenge" from a team of pioneering leaders from a variety of backgrounds including fresh expressions of church, PR, ecology and spirituality, says Share Jesus.

Cultural Influencers joining the retreat include Steve Hughes from (Arocha, Russ Oliver (Doing things Differently), Caleb Storkey (Transformation in Business), Johnny Sertin (Radical Living), Russell Rook (Communities and Change), Carl Beech (Masculinity and Evangelism), and Liz Babbs (Spirituality).

Share Jesus said the retreat would not only offer new concepts and ideas, but also an opportunity to explore ways of practical application in the local situation and hear stories of what God is doing around the country.

Teaching on models of community and change as well as the church past, present and future will be given by Russell Rook, Chris Blake and Ron Willoughby.

There will be space for prayer, fresh air, reflection, worship and ministry together with energetic walks or leisurely strolls exploring the stunning countryside around Cliff College and nearby Froggatt Edge. Worship will be led by Ben Cantalon.
